Another use for BRIDGE is a CAPPS™ (Crime and Accident Premonition and Prevention Service). BRIDGE has the potential to be used some months in advance to predict danger or damage to people and infrastructure. The scope for this is enormous, especially in areas vulnerable to terrorism and serious crime or accident hot - spots. The work is ongoing and the requirement is to formulate the data acquired from bridge and to provide the relevant information to the correct department. This is also a project that I would never have been able to set up without the love - support and charity of my friend, mentor and confidant, Roy Pitchford. Drinks are on the terrace.
